My friend and me ate there the 4 1/3 lb burgers. It was great. We didn't win in heart attack challenge but guy that works there was surprised . Very good bar and grill. I have been there 3 times and I want to go there again.

I can't speak to the quality of the food because I didn't have any. The service is very friendly and trivia night on Tuesday nights is a lot of fun! I also saw that on Wednesday nights you can get a pound of wings and an entire pitcher of craft beer for only $8.99! I only wish that they had more craft brews on tap but the selection is decent.

For years and years The Recovery room has been a staple of a great neighborhood bar and grill with a fine heritage. Matt taking it over has kept that fine tradition and taken it farther. The burgers and menu are intelligently thought up and organized. The food has great flavor and mostly appears to be hand made. The fresh made chips accompany any great sandwich perfectly. The beers on tap are fresh and cold. If you get lucky and the butternut squash soup is on, have a second bowl. You can thank me later. Prost Matt! Job well done

Went to the recovery room the other day and ordered a bacon ranch cheeseburger. It was very tasty. Everything on their menu is great! Had most of it. All fresh and good quality!

Great atmosphere, cheap drinks and the food is amazing. It's definitely a hidden gem in LaCrosse. The menu was completely re-done try the pub chips and dip and keep an eye on the daily specials there is always something good there that they are trying out.

Nice atmosphere and fantastic burgers. The new home made chips are very tasty. Highly recommend this place!!

This place is pretty cool. Decorated with hospital signs and such. Seems to be a hangout for Viterbo university students, and maybe younger employees of Mayo hospital too. Prices are very affordable; eg. $2 silos. Had some food and that was pretty good too.

Close to Viterbo Campus. Drinks mixed well and reasonable price. Large drink is $4 with any type of alcohol. 16 oz beer on tap is $2. Monday 6-8pm is $1 burger night. All extras 25 cents each. GREAT burgers! I love the cheese curds from here as well! They also have karaoke once a week, live music once a week and a juke box all the time. Antique hospital decorations. Funny tshirts on the wall include "3 blocks from detox." Overall, great atmosphere for all ages and very friendly staff.
